Clustered in groups of cupped, old fashioned blooms, Soul Mate has a delightful colouring in lemon tones and butter gold. Its most pronounced feature is the intense anise fragrance. It is armed with masses of thorns amongst the medium glossy green dense foliage, is bushy, compact and well rounded. It is also known as Julia Child.
