An old moss rose with medium pink, cupped blooms in small clusters.
Baron de Wassenaër is a large vigorous shrub reaching up to 2m tall and has very little to almost no thorns.
Named after the musician whose heroism in a sea battle of 1696 against the French was very much admired by the latter.
