It’s a great question, and not easy to answer. In one sense they can be the true heritage and old roses, bred many decades ago, but there have been many new or modern roses bred to look like the roses of long ago, that have strong and unusual scents, and flower for much longer periods.
While many rose nurseries have moved away from old fashioned roses in favour of growing a smaller range of popular ones, here at Wagner’s we have increased our list and are constantly adding to it as we feel that these beautiful roses deserve their rightful place alongside the more popular types and varieties.
